At Makton Remodel + Restore, we believe in the importance of preserving cherished traditions while also embarking on new journeys. Home remodeling is an opportunity to honor the legacy of a space, respecting its history while infusing it with the fresh perspectives and needs of modern living.

Meet the team

Vito Corradino

Founder and Contractor

Hello, my name is Vito Corradino and I am the owner of Makton Remodel + Restore. I have been in the construction industry for over a decade and have had the opportunity to learn a myriad of skills and insights of the industry,  from getting my start at a custom restoration shop in Oregon, where I built replicas of 18th and 19th century windows and doors, to joining a contracting company whose focus was historical restoration and remodeling. Later I continued my education in commercial construction as a Journeyman Carpenter in the Oregon Carpenters Union. I made the move to Richmond in 2020, where I returned to my roots of residential remodeling and historical restoration. I founded Makton Remodel + Restore to further bring my passion for creating new and old spaces into a place that families both need and want, and am honored to be a part of that journey. Every home has a story to continue or a story to begin, and I am so thankful to those who trust me to help create it with them.

Robin Corradino

Director of Operations

As the Chief Operating Officer at Makton Remodel + Restore, my job is to do a little (or a lot) of everything that helps make the business run so that Vito and the team can focus their energy on what they do best in the field. I love discussing architecture and design ideas, as well as meeting and learning from other contractors and specialists in our local community. Prior to coming to work at Makton with Vito, I managed a small flower shop here in Richmond. When I’m not working in the Makton office or down at the city permit office, you can find me in my ceramics studio, out in the garden, or hanging with our three cats.

Tristan Moore

Carpenter

Tristan joined Makton in September of 2025 as an experienced and well rounded carpenter. The challenges he has overcome and the education that he has gained by working on historical homes in Richmond has allowed him to thrive in the industry and become an integral part of our team. His experience is matched by the enjoyment he gets from the sort of work we do here at Makton, and he is excited to continue on his journey as a carpenter. Tristan appreciates the quote “ It’s not over until it’s over” because he believes that no matter what obstacles may present themselves, you can always find a way to make things work. Outside of work, Tristan enjoys playing video games, spending time with his family, and being a part of the Makton softball team.

Where We’re Headed

Here at Makton, we strive to be active and engaged participants in our community. As we continue to grow, we are always seeking ways to connect and contribute to the Richmond community and the Church Hill neighborhood where we are based. While we work towards our big dreams of giving back in big ways, we’d love to hear any suggestions or insights you may have of opportunities to get involved in the mean time. Drop us a line! For now, you can find us attending community association meetings, participating in local volunteer work parties, and shopping at our fellow locally owned businesses.
